Documentation Required

1. Inventory
2. Invoices for new items
3. Work Permit
4. Customs Bond
5. Bank Guarantee
6. Caricom Customs Invoice
7. Certificate of Origin (consularized)
8. Letter authorizing Destination Agent to clear shipment

Customs Regulations

1. Customer must be present at time of customs clearance and must sign declaration of ownership in the presence of a customs official
2. All items less than one year old are dutiable (in the case of non-nationals)
3. Shipments partially inspected at customs

Prohibited Items

1. Weapons and ammunition
2. Drugs and narcotics

Motor Vehicles

1. Importation of cars up to 1600cc engine size allowed, but highly taxed
