Documentation Required

1. Valid Passport
2. Inventory in French, detailed, valued, and signed and dated by Customer
3. Certificate of Change of Residence
4. "Attestation Reservation de cale"
5. Mission order of employer
6. Declaration signed by customer that goods are for personal use

Customs Regulation

1. Used household goods are duty-free if they have been in the owner's possession, used for six months, and are not for resale

Dutiable and Restricted Items

1. Home computers are not accepted as personal effects and will be subject to customs duties and import taxes
2. New electrical items and furniture are subject to duties and taxes
3. Invoices required
4. Must be more than six months old
5. Tobacco products
6. Firearms and weapons are duty-free with a:
7. F4 Form
8. Certificate of Registration
9. Valid Passport
10. Proof of ownership
11. Certificate of temporary admission

Prohibited Items

1. Weapons and Ammunition
2. Drugs
3. Pornagraphic Material
4. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited and should be sent separately. Only the mention "fond de cave" (less than 30 bottles) is acceptable.

Motor Vehicles

1. New cars are dutiable
2. Documents required:

4. Proof of ownership
5. Original Purchase Invoice
6. F4 Form provided by Customs at the time of arrival

Animals and Pets

1. Health Certificate and proof of anti-rabies inoculation
