Documentation Required

1. Certificate of Residence Change
2. Letter of transfer from the shipper's employer
3. Inventory detailed, valued, dated and signed (in French)

Customs Regulation

1. SHIPPER MUST BE PRESENT AT CUSTOMS CLEARANCE

Dutiable and Restricted Items

1. Electrical/electronic equipment if less than six months old (invoices required)
2. Home computers are not acceptable as personal effects and will be subject to Customs duties and import taxes

Prohibited Items

1. Weapons and ammunition
2. Narcotics
3. Pornographic material
4. Alcohol and other spirits are prohibited and should be sent separately

Animals and Pets

1. Health Certificate from veterinarian required

Motor Vehicles

1. Highly taxed
